This self-published folded sheet of drawings by Otterness reflects the widespread interest in violent imagery within the Colab group in the early 1980s. The subject of this cheaply produced newsprint publication is the mass suicide of 918 followers of the cult leader Jim Jones in Guyana in 1978. Copies of Otterness’ Jonestown Massacre were first available in the Times Square Show gift shop.
