Card for 1920: The Subtlety of Subversion The Continuity of Intervention, an exhibition that featured Laurie Anderson, Ida Applebroog, Louise Bourgeois, Nicole Eisenman, Cindy Sherman, Martha Wilson, Hannah Wilke, and Nancy Spero among others.
In 1920, the 19th amendment was passed and women won the right to vote.
