Rudi Stern and Jackie Cassen, Card, Let There Be Neon, c. Late 1970s

In the mid-1960s, Rudi Stern moved to New York City, where he met the poet and artist Jackie Cassen. They collaborated on multimedia installations of kinetic art, including the “Psychedelic Celebration Number One” for LSD advocate Timothy Leary and did mixed-media shows at the Electric Circus. They opened Let There Be Neon in 1972.
